          Itinerary

In the heart of the city, a few meters from the emblematic Obelisk, is one of the most distinguished tango houses in Buenos Aires: Tango Porteño, a magical place that virtuously recreates the best years of the golden decade.
The luxurious building where Tango Porteño operates today used to be the famous Metro Cinema, owned by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Our show covers the different moments of tango, from its River Plate origins to its most contemporary expression, enveloping the public in an atmosphere of passion, sensuality, disagreements and nostalgia.
A wonderful space where the great orchestras of Canaro, Fresedo, Piazzolla, De Caro, Gobbi, Biagi, De Angelis, Di Sarli, D'Arienzo, Lomuto, D'Agostino and of course the unforgettable Troilo and Pugliese who at that time live and coexist then they developed their full potential and in a healthy but demanding competition they competed for reign in Chateclair, Armenonville, Marabu, Tabaris, Tibidabo and many others that disappeared in the relentless transformation of the great city.
The scenic display and the meticulousness of the costumes create the unsurpassed framework to transport us back in time and enjoy an unforgettable experience reliving that time when all of Buenos Aires was Tango.
