Itinerary
Depart Picton and cruise up through the Queen Charlotte Sound / Tōtaranui these tranquil waterways are full of history and wonderful stories, take in the beautiful vistas and learn how these waterways are a work place for some such as New Zealand King Salmon farms and home for a lot of people.
The Queen Charlotte Sounds offers an array of wildlife and often visited by dolphins. New Zealand fur seals can be sited around the bays as well and the little blue penguin, keep an eye out for a variety of birds such as the Australasian gannet, shearwaters, terns and cormorants and cheeky weka that inhabit our beautiful region.
The cruise route will depend on the season, and your skipper will allow time ashore at a local site of interest. Options can include a bird sanctuary if there is wildlife, maybe a visit to a historic site, a short walk to a 1000-year-old rimu tree, or a visit to a local lodge before making your way back to Picton

There is a minimum number of persons required for this tour to operate, our reservations team will contact you if this will not be going ahead.
During the Winter Months we do operate on a reduced schedule, if the day you require is not available on the booking calendar please contact us to check for additional availability.
