        Essential Information

        Entrance to Los Glaciares National Park is not included. Its approximate value is $45,000 and is paid upon entry. They do not accept Mastercard cards, you can pay in cash or Visa card in Argentine pesos when you arrive at the Park.
        Children under 8 years old and over 65 years old cannot carry out this activity, without exception. Pregnant women or people with reduced mobility, arthritis, prostheses, knee or small finger problems, overweight, or heart problems will also not be able to do the activity. Children must have sufficient psychophysical capacity to walk for 3 hours, of which 1 and a half hours is on ice with crampons.
        Food is not included, and there is no place to purchase it, so you must bring it from El Calafate.
        Required clothing: Waterproof jacket, comfortable and warm clothing, long waterproof pants, trekking boots, medium backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves, hat.
        Some hotels in the city are not included in our pickup itinerary. If this is the case, we will contact you to indicate the closest hotel to which you should go so that we can pick you up for the excursion. You must wait for your guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.
        If you purchase the activity without transfers, the meeting point is at the "Bajo las Sombras" Port.

          Itinerary

          Get ready for a unique and unforgettable experience in the majestic Los Glaciares National Park. The journey begins in the picturesque Puerto 'Bajo de las Sombras', where you will embark to cross the waters of the Brazo Rico to the west coast of the lake. From the beginning, the views of the glacier and the natural environment will leave you breathless.
          Upon arrival, a team of expert guides will greet you with a warm welcome and provide you with fascinating details about the adventure you are about to experience. At the shelter you will have time to leave your belongings, rest and prepare, in addition to making use of the available services.
          The walk begins with small groups of up to 20 people, ensuring a personalized and peaceful experience. After a short 20-minute walk along a path that crosses the forest, the most anticipated moment arrives: the ascent to the glacier. Once you have placed your crampons, you will begin a magical 2-hour journey on the ice, exploring impressive formations, immersing yourself in a landscape of deep blues and extraordinary reliefs. In addition, you will learn about the flora, fauna and glaciology of the region, and discover the secrets of the famous glacier breakup phenomenon.
          On the way back, you will cross the Magellanic forest to the refuge, where a special moment awaits you: you will be able to enjoy your lunch (not included) with a privileged view of the imposing Perito Moreno Glacier. The turquoise waters and ancient ice will be the perfect backdrop to replenish your energy.
          The day culminates with an exciting navigation through the Brazo Rico of Lake Argentino, allowing you to closely appreciate the immensity of the glacier. And to top it all off, you'll have time to walk along the panoramic walkways, where every angle reveals a new perspective of this natural wonder.
