**Melbourne City Tour Itinerary
Welcome to Melbourne, a city of contrasts, world famous sporting arenas and historic gardens. Be dazzled by the marvellous sights of Australia’s most vibrant city and learn about it’s fascinating history with your expert guide.
Your Oceania Guide will pick you up from your Melbourne hotel before you embark on your city discovery.
By choosing a small group tour with Oceania, you will make the most of your time in Melbourne.
After pick up, your guide will show you in and around the city, you will see some of Melbourne’s iconic sights such as Federation Square, the MCG and our world-famous sports precinct.
Travel to St Patrick’s Cathedral, south to Albert Park Lake, home to the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and on to the renowned bayside suburb of St Kilda, home to Melbourne’s most famous beach and all the way to Brighton to see the Bathing Beach Boxes.
Your tour finishes outside Melbourne’s famous Eureka Tower. We recommend you purchase a ticket, to see the awe inspiring skyline from Melbourne Skydeck. Here you will be spoilt with 360 degree views of the City, Port Phillip Bay all the way to the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley.
There will be a maximum of 11 guests in your group, so you will have plenty of opportunities to ask your guide questions and get to know your fellow travellers.
**Phillip Island Tour Itinerary
Your unforgettable day will commence with a visit to Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park where you are guaranteed plenty of close encounters with an array of Australian native animals like kangaroos, wombats and echidnas.
Next, we will head to Phillip Island where, time/season permitting, we will take you to Woolamai Surf Beach to catch a glimpse of the awesome waves and die-hard surfers.
Following this, we then travel over to the dramatic west coast of the island.
At the Nobbies, you will stroll along the boardwalk to experience the waves crashing along this dramatic coastline and perhaps spot a few seals and some penguin nests.
Finally, your Phillip Island Day Tour is not complete without its black tie gala event: the Penguin Parade. You will firstly head to the Visitor Centre to shop and have a coffee.
Then last but certainly not least, you will meander along the boardwalk to the viewing platform.
It’s time to relax and let the show begin.
The little penguins will waddle ashore, decked out in their tuxedos as they hurry off to find their burrows.
At the end of the evening, your Oceania Guide will take you back to your Melbourne hotel.
