Travel Essentials:
*A valid passport is required, as the tour travels from Switzerland to France.
*The official currency in France is the Euro (€). Swiss francs (CHF) may not be accepted in Chamonix.
*The tour operates in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately for a day in the mountains.
Operational Information:
*Your guide will accompany you on the bus and in Chamonix village. You will have free time during the cable car or train activities.
*The Aiguille du Midi cable car and Mer de Glace train are subject to local weather and operating conditions. Their availability can only be confirmed on the day, upon arrival in Chamonix.
*The train ticket includes access to the ice cave and gondola, subject to opening. If these facilities are closed, no refund will be provided, as the ticket price remains unchanged.
*If you have selected both Aiguille du Midi and Mer de Glace, you will receive a MultiPass covering Mont-Blanc Company facilities. Once used for one activity, the MultiPass is considered used and cannot be refunded if another activity is subsequently closed.
*If an activity is closed or unavailable, an alternative may be offered or a partial refund may apply. Transportation costs are non-refundable.
*Please take note that some attractions may be temporarily closed due to scheduled maintenance. Alternative activities will be offered where applicable

Back in Chamonix, enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace. This charming Alpine town, surrounded by spectacular peaks and glaciers, is known for its unique mountain atmosphere. Famous for hosting the first Winter Olympic Games in 1924, Chamonix has attracted travellers, mountaineers and adventurers from around the world for generations. Continue your Alpine adventure aboard the famous red cogwheel mountain train to Mer de Glace, France’s largest glacier. Enjoy the scenic journey through the mountains and discover this impressive natural landmark, surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Mont Blanc massif. Depending on the season and operating conditions, you may also have the opportunity to visit the ice cave, Glaciorium or Crystal Gallery.
