Itinerary
A driver will pick you up at your hotel in downtown Buenos Aires between 07:00 AM and 07.30 AM to drop you off at the ferry terminal, located in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero, on the shore of the Río de la Plata, the widest in the world and a natural border between Argentina and Uruguay. Once in the ferry terminal, go to the Departures counter to present your documentation for check-in and then, board the ferry. Around 09:00 AM, the ferry departs to Colonia del Sacrament and sail for around 1.15 hours while you can enjoy all the facilities the ship offers. Whether sitting in our comfortable seats or out to the balconies to observe our journey, you will be in one of the safest and most reliable ships. By mid-morning, you will arriving to Colonia del Sacramento where a driver will be waiting for you to start the Sightseeing Tour in a private car.
Our professional guide will take you around the corners of this city that has become a tourist spot thanks to its proximity to the City of Buenos Aires (50 km) and its old town which consists of a historic district declared World Heritage Site in 1995 thanks its perfect illustration of the fusion of the Portuguese, Spanish (both settlers of the City) and post-colonial styles. The visit will begin in the area of Real San Carlos, stopping at the Chapel of San Benito and Milhanovich complex where we will find the Plaza de Toros, the pediment, hippodrome and the pier.
Then, you will move to the west coast, along the great bay and its beaches, you will tour through the different residential neighborhoods, to reach the city center and the shopping areas and enter the historic district through the Portón de Campo of the old Colonia del Sacramento. Within the neighborhood, you will enjoy a tour that will give you the reasons why this area of the city was declared a World Heritage Site. The tour will finish in the city center, where we can choose to have lunch at one of the many gastronomic options the city offers. Once you have lunch, we can go to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, we will have free time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel or to continue touring this picturesque city.

Have breakfast at your hotel and have the rest of the day to continue discovering Colonia, its culture and gastronomy. In the afternoon, go back to your hotel to pick your luggage and at 02:30 PM, a private car will take you back to the ferry terminal. After presenting your documentation, board the ferry which will depart at 04:00 PM, to take you back on the shores of the City of Buenos Aires, arriving around 05:15 PM, where a driver will be waiting for you to take you back to the hotel in the city center.
